Before the Escape Room

What do I need to know?

You don't need any prior knowledge and you don't have to be Einstein. Just use your logic and common sense.

How strong do I need to be?

You don't need to have superpowers. Everything opens easily. If not, then you haven't solved the puzzle yet. So, try not to break anything, otherwise it's no fun. Neither for you to puzzle out, nor for us to repair.

Do I need to be afraid?

Maniac and Zombie are scary rooms, so keep that in mind when booking. Otherwise, you don't need to be afraid. All other rooms are not scary. If you still want to leave the room, you can press the emergency button at any time and leave the room. But please don't press the buttons for fun, because then the game is over!

Can I rebook or cancel the game?

Can I pay on site?

Payment for the order can only be made online. However, you can pay by card (no cash) on site for additional people (if applicable) or drinks/food!

How much does an escape room cost?

Our prices are as follows: 2 players: €119, 3 players: €139, 4 players: €159, 5 players: €179, 6 players: €199

Can children under 16 alone in an escape room?

No! They are only allowed to do so if accompanied by an adult player in the escape room (maximum of 5 children with 1 adult). Younger participants are always welcome at EXITROOM. Here are our age recommendations for our rooms: Ages 12 and up: Magic School, Pirates, Magic Lamp, Halflings (only when accompanied by an adult player in the room). Ages 16 and up: Zombie, Maniac, DaVinci, Bunker, Bank Job. The following applies to all rooms: Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult player in the room.

About our Escape Rooms

Can the maximum number of players be exceeded?

No! For safety reasons, we are not allowed to change the maximum number of participants in the room. We do not make any exceptions!

Can I play as a pair?

Sure, please note the information in the description when booking. For example, in the pictures, it says “minimum 2 people.” Please note that the difficulty level is set for the minimum number of people specified by us.

How many rooms are there?

We have 10 different escape rooms to choose from. So if you've already played one, there's still more to explore. Each room has a different theme, different puzzles, and a different level of difficulty.

Can I eat in the escape room?

No food or drinks are allowed during the game. However, you can enjoy delicious burgers, fries, or cocktails in our restaurant before or after the game.

Is there a group discount?

Unfortunately, we do not offer group discounts. However, we do have a discount card that gives you ongoing discounts after just two visits!

What happens if you get stuck on a puzzle?

Each group is accompanied by a gamemaster. They will introduce you to the story and give you tips if you get stuck.

What should you wear?

Comfortable clothes and flat shoes are best.

How popular are escape rooms in Berlin?

Escape rooms in Berlin are still very popular! They’re especially popular as group activities for friends, corporate events, or bachelor parties.

How does an escape room work?

The meeting point is 15 minutes before the game starts. You will be given a locker in which to store your bags, jackets, and cell phones. Then you will receive a short introduction from your gamemaster and you will be ready to enter the room. There you will have 60 minutes to solve all the puzzles and escape from the room. Afterwards, we will take a group photo with you. Then you can take a seat in our restaurant and relax with something to eat or drink.

How difficult is an escape room?

We have one easy room: Halflings, four medium-difficulty rooms: Maniac, Magic Lamp, Pirates, Magic School, and five difficult rooms: Zombie, Bank Job, DaVinci, and Bunker.

Are you locked in an escape room?

No, some of our doors are open or equipped with an emergency button so that you can always leave the room.

Can I go to the bathroom during the game?

Yes, in an emergency, you can of course leave the room briefly. But hurry, the clock is ticking! So try to go before or after the game. Your group can continue playing during that time.

In which languages can I play?

All games can be played in English and German. Just let your gamemaster know before the game or specify it when booking.

Can I bring my dog?

No, dogs are not allowed in our escape room. However, dogs are welcome in our restaurant.

Can I bring my baby?

Escape rooms are generally not suitable for babies. Please contact us before bringing a baby.

How long does an escape room last?

You have 60 minutes to solve all the puzzles in the room and escape. The meeting point is always 15 minutes before the start of the game. At the end, we are happy to take a group photo with you, so please allow approximately 1.5 hours for the entire visit.
